Mcmillan bruno stock question

Guys my 30br is finished but i didnt have the smith put a pad on it yet as i wanted to see the balance of the rifle. It will need some weight in the butt stock before i put the plate on it. The inside of this stock is kinda foamy. I am not exactly sure what the material is. Anyway whats the best way to add the weight? And how do i secure it? Just looking for some info so i do this correctly. Thanks Lee
 
The old man down the road is going to install the actual recoil pad. I just wanted to know whats the best thing to use for weight And whats the proper way to secure it. Wayne (the old man down the road) does excellent pad work but 99% of his work is with wood stocks. I am sure we will figure this out, but i was hoping for some suggestions before i head over there Thursday. Lee
