I am having a stock made and the guy told me to order the McMillan benchrest trigger guard. As you can see from the attached image, McMillan doesn't offer it anymore.
Can anyone help me out with where to get something similar or perhaps you've got one laying around??
Thanks
Jim

Thanks, I'll check with Bordens.
Mike Turner is making the stock. The one that is coming up to Alaska is for an Anschutz 54 action with a factory trigger. Mike also asked me to get another one if I can for him to use on a stock he is doing for someone else.

Jim,
You might give Brownells a try. They did have 700 Rem. pattern trigger guards in their catalog. I was looking the other day because I need to get an alloy ADL guard for a stock I'm doing for one of my 40X's.

I just found a spare aluminum trigger guard that came with a BR action. Has the grove been cut for the trigger guard? If so, what are the dimensions?

Thanks Guys,
This is driving me nuts
I can find all sorts of places to get Remm 700 ADL style trigger guards. But for some reason Mike is stuck on the McMillan benchrest guard which has a longer front tang than the 700 guard. As he is the one inletting the stock for the trigger and guard, I have no idea why this will not work.
Thanks Guys
Jim

Might try Jerry Stiller at Viper Actions. He furnishes a guard with his actions but they may be Remington pattern.

Trigger Guard

Call Bruce Thoms at BAT.Very nice and I have used several of them, polished looks just like the ome you are looking for. They are listed at $38.00 , the picture on yhe website shows a standard Rem 2 hole, but when you order they give you the option of 1 or 2 hole.

I am having the same problem. I haven't been able to find one with the longer tang. i was told that they weren't going to have any more made. you need the longer tang because of the trigger. there isn't enough tang to clear the cut out of the trigger for a front screw.
