McMillan action info

I'm looking for information regarding some actions that Lester Bruno apparently contracted with McMillan to make using his specs. This appears to have been done maybe 10 years ago, could be more.
A local club member has one that he would like to sell and the price seems reasonable. The rifle has a benchrest stock (probably McMillan), RBLP, Kreiger barrel chambered in 6 PPC with 200 or so rounds and a jewell trigger. I certainly don't have a need for it but we have new shooters from time to time who are looking for reasonably priced rifles. If I can recommend a good rifle at a good price I can help both the seller and the buyer. I did find an old thread where Jackie Schmidt has some negative information about the bolt, but other than that I can't find much.

Rick, I had one of the Bruno/McMillan BR actions. It was a R/R in a Tony Larson redwood stock and set up as a 10.5 lb gun in 6PPC.

It was the smoothest action I've ever owned...and I've had a few. I would have liked the bolt handle to have been more elevated but that was the only thing I would have changed.

Much appreciated Al. If all goes well, I plan to shoot this one tomorrow.
