IR 50/50 State 3 gun yards and meters on September 13. We will be shooting yards first and then meters. When the first match is over and the target crews are moving the targets stands back to meters. There will be a break for lunch. The wife is cooking again this year so it will be good. The yard targets will be placed on the stand and protest will start after that. When the target stands are set there will be practice period for meters . Then we will move into the match. After the meters match. We will drive up to the club house for more good eating and the awards and pins passed out. This year I have made three knives to give away. Just like last year bench number are going to be used for the knives.IMG_0067.jpg

Rimfire matches at McKeesport

Big Jeff..... What Rimfire courses of fire do you shoot, when, and with what? For instance, Clairton shoots 100yd. Bench for score, Rimfire Long Range Silhouettes, and CMP Rimfire. Does your Club want or need more shooters?

Tomon,

I'm not Big Jeff, but I think I can assure you McKeesport will always welcome new shooters.

McKeesport shoots IR 50/50 three gun matches in the summer. They offer a full SOTY season. That is five matches and normally a club or State tournament.

For complete information on how these matches are held go to this site: http://www.ir5050.com/

The guys that shoot there are competitive but friendly, and always willing to welcome new shooters.

The range is easy to get to and is very well ran. Make plans now to come next season.
