This was supposed to be our first decent weather shoot. Yep, no rain and a temperature that didn't require a parka. But, the wind once again got it's 2 cents say in the matter. With Mark sitting out the match, I drew his bench 11 and this time it may have paid off. Though Tom was in the wind, he ended up with a terrific X count. Chris started the match shooting less than stellar fodder, saving his GOOD stuff for later. C'mon Kathy, let the poor boy purchase some decent pellets, ok? Oliver, we missed you!
...Mike

Congrats to Mike who managed a record setting 17x’s on target-1.
Note that the next tournament will be on the fifth Wednesday of June due to use conflict at Slug Alley.

Mike Great shooting man! I can't believe the Wild River gang isn't going in my place. You can't hate traveling to SC that much!!!
That wind was really switching back and forth and up and down. Mike you read it soooo well!! Hopefully the up down flags I just got from Grahams Flags will help me learn that one better. They did help in practice today. And I got the breech parts and hammer spring changed out on the .22 cal gun today, so I'll be seeing what USFT #27 with the 2 groove stainless barrel can do dialed down to 19fpe. If you guys want to come down to Ashland before the 29th... this weekend might be good.. or next wed.??
