I have a Turk Mauser 98 chambered in 45-70. The magazine never stacked or fed the cartridges properly. I am rechambering to 450 Marlin, thinking that a rimless belted could be made to feed. Is there someone who can suggest someone to modify or replace the existing magazine so that it will work properly. Not something that I have any experience in! Someone cobbled the floor plate in the magazine trying to get it to feed properly, so at least that item needs replacing or a whole new magazine may be needed.
Kinda' lost in space here until I can get this resolved.
