Well another match at the Fairfax Rod & Gun Club comes to an end. The day was cold and the wind started out nice and mild, then got a little tricky for the last few matches. Only six shooters stayed clean. Curtis Tripp won VFS with an impressive 250-12X. He started out the day with a fantastic 50-5X target. This was Curtis' first win!

The top three places in each category are below

Factory
1st Christopher Romero
2nd Matthew Torres
3rd John Refferty

Modified Factory
1st Adrian Van Gorder
2nd Ray Bowman
3rd Branden Bailey

VFS

2nd Julia Van Gorder
3rd K.C. Young

Congratulations to all the winners, especially Curtis for his first win, that first one is special. I see Julia was right there again,I think that will get to be something we had better get use to as I forsee that happening a lot now that she has her first win. I missed seeing all of you and hope to make the match next month. Good Shooting, Steve

Congrats...wish I could have been there. Hopefully I can make the next matches, looks promising.

Berger 110 grain bullets again..?

Adrian, the equipment report says Julia was shooting those Berger 110 grain bullets again...Is there a trend starting here?..:D
It will be hard to go back to those custom 30 caliber bullets after shooting two 250 scores at 200 yds...

Her gun likes a few different bullets. The Berger's were already loaded up and ready to roll, so, she shot them again.

I'm so proud of her! It sure does make me feel good that she did so well at this match.

She's been shooting for less than a year and already has fourteen 250 stickers and two 500 stickers.

Adrian
