Match Results - Deitzville - Boerne Tx.

Like others I enjoy seeing some of the result info from across the country.
This weekend there were two matches in the greater San Antonio, Tx. area.

Saturday night was the Dietzville Bench Rest Club match and it turned into a very pleasant evening without the famous oddball wind conditions that seem to prevail there. It still was a close one though with severe thunderstorms moving through the area with one just missing the range. Ironically as dry as it's been down here I'd be more than happy for it to just blanket us with rain for weeks if the good Lord would bless us with such.

Top Three finishers were

Jack Harper - agg 2283.33 - high target - 2400
David Schmidt - agg 2245.83 - high target - 2350
Les Williams - agg 2212.50 - high target 2350

Sunday morning we headed over to the Boerne Shooting Club

Top Three

Jack Harper - agg 2158.33 - high target - 2350
Les Williams - agg 2145.83 - high target - 2400
David Schmidt - agg 2132.50 - high target - 2325

The Sunday morning conditions were a little more work than Saturday night, with the wind picking up as the match went on. By targets 5 & 6 one was having to really work the conditions.

Note - Hopefully Jack doesn't get mad at me for mentioning this but he's been in a little slump as of late. Between him and David, and a little home brew gunsmithing done to his rifle, he's back in the heat of the battle again.

Very nice shooting Jack and it's good to see you back at the top.

Jack don't mind

Les:
I sent the report in to Dan so he could update our Web-site for all to see. I guess Boerne will be putting something on their site as well.

Not sure if they are keeping their result postings up to date but send a few messages and I'm sure they will if there's a interest shown by the shooting community.
