It was a nice day for a match early but when the sun came out it got hot real quick and mirage was fairly bad. The conditions were pretty good overall but between the mirage and a swirling wind it would bite you if you didn't pay attention. We had a pretty good turnout with 19 shooters, 12 VFS, 4 modified and 3 factory. Cuz'n Roy Darnell won VFS with a 250-23x score, Phil Lewis was 2nd w 250-20x, Dale Avery was 3rd w 250-18x. In modified James Davis was first with 250-12x, Eric Lawson was 2nd w 249-5x and Zack Darnell was 3rd w 248-8x. In Factory class Kevin Ross won w 240-4x and Bill Glaze was 2nd w 233- 4x score. We had several new shooters today and they all had a good time, Bill Glaze was one of the new shooters( with us) he had an interesting gun, a 40x in 6mm rem sporting a unertyl scope. Bill said that he had a ball and planned to be back. Congrats to all that shot well and thanks to all that helped with the match and those that came to shoot, we couldn't do it without you. See ya next month!

Dang, Steve, with all the work they put in, they should have air-conditioned the firing line. One again, I wish I coulda been there. I'll make it yet.
