There will be a 200 yd score match at the Rock this Sat. 4-27-13 start time 9 am, weather is suppose to be good!

It was a strange day at the Rock, the weather was good and the conditions were good for the most part but there was some strange stuff going on too! The conditions would look good and you would be shooting x's and all of a sudden you would be in the 9 ring and wondering how you got there.We had a decent crowd with 14 shooters, 10 VFS, 3 Mod and 1 factory. The strange stuff started in match 1 with Cuz'n Roy shooting a 49-4x target with 1 in the middle on the 9 ring with no visible reason as to why. Today was new shooter day with 3 new guys shooting. In VFS Albert Hollady (new shooter) won with a 250-5x , 2nd was Ken Eades with a 250-5x and in 3rd was Cuz'n Roy with a 249-15x score. Roy was shooting lights out except for that 1 shot out of nowhere. I have to congratulate my buddy Ken on his 2nd place finish, shooting left handed for the first time due to some eye issues, we finally figured out he's been bas' ackards all these years and just found out today! 
In Mod new shooter,Gary Hendricks won straight out the gate with a 244-7x score, Butch Mays was 2nd w 242-3x and Eric Lawson was 3rd with 241-2x and Bill Glaze won factory w 225-0x. We had some good shooting and some train wrecks by various shooters but I think we all had a good time. Thanks to the folks that helped run the match, your efforts are appreciated!
