Marlin 39 22 lever Remington accuracy ?????

Before using abrasive ammo it would shoot honest 4 moa groups at 50 yards, rested with a peep and blade/post. Now it shoots 2moa with HS ammo.
 
Different class of rifle than what we deal with in benchrest on this forum for the most part. as we strive for the imperial 1 hole group at 50yds. We get close with documented groups in .1,.2 inch area, repeatably. That's not to say your improvement of that rifle is anything to sneeze at. Just not apples to apples here. ( well there are always a few crab apples) If you have not already done so I would suggest the RFC forum. There are various discussion groups for just about every make rimfire rifle there.
