What type/brand of rings would you put on a March 40x scope?
This will be installed on a Miller Falling Block rifle.
Don't know if the cheaper rings on eBay are worth it.
Your thoughts are?

all that money on a March scope and then looking at cheap rings? Order a set of Kelby rings and never look back. Single screw rings if it is a small cartridge, double screw rings if it is a big "shutzenboomer".

My thoughts are don't be cheap with something so important, and what does your handle mean?

I shoot mainly Schuetzen here in slc and the scope will go on a Miller falling block.

The name came when I was in my teen, came home will after I should have and tripped over our huge white Tom cat named queeny and all hell broke out between me and him, the boy at school found out about all the scratches, and that's it.

The March mounts are made by Third Eye and are a proper 11mm dovetail, they do F1 stuff. Very well made and true, no need for lapping. Kelblys rings are good, correct dimensionally and certain Third Eye make their other mounts with their name on.

Not fond of the BKL they are well oversize and need serious clamping pressure just to get any where near a properly cut dovetail.

Couldnt pass up on the deal, full paper work, a guy bought it for a new br gun that was in the works, but his wife's money stopped coming in so it had to go.... 1500$$ couldnt pass that up....
I'll check those other sites for rings, thanks guys for the help...

Then it sounds like a sweet deal, any 30mm set of rings will work for you as long as the fit your bases. If you had Weaver style bases I would use the Burris Zee rings, they are inexpensive and work well. I have several March scopes in Burris Zee rings I like the plastic insert so it does not mar the scope finish.

I have 3 or 4 sets of Burris Zee rings for the 1in. Scopes.
Very good rings too bad that they don't make 30mm in 11mm rail, if they do I haven't seen them.
