So much actitvity in rimfire benchrest right now....big season coming up, so many folks wanting guns, and to get started.......and, I'm between building guns and running tests on the new RvA solid muzzle device......
My friend Bill Myers posted a thread about testing a Jewell, manually re-set trigger..
I'm in the process of finishing SPEC 4.......I'm testing with a manually reset, Jewell trigger.....I have to say one thing......this manually re-set Jewell trigger, I'm testing with, will not go with SPEC 4.......I don't have time to explain why right now...sorry...
My freinds...........Until we get 90 degree engagement surfaces between the cocking piece and the trigger sear, the next best thing we can do now, to further accuracy, is to use the triggers we have now, but, manually reset....
Finally: The day will come, shortly, when we will all be using 90 degree engagement surfaces on our cocking pieces and trigger sears, or, we will be using my manually re-set, modified, current triggers..........
