Manners new f-class stock

I see that Tom Manner of manners gun stocks has a new f-class stock. This stock is supposed to be something like 9" longer than any other stock on the market for f-class shooting. My thought is that the extra length would be a bad thing. wouldnt it be harder to reach your adjustments on your rest with the longer stock? Anyone have anything they can share why this would be a good thing? I like the stock but will it be effective? lee

To me longer is a bad thing...the first like you mentioned...like for me I'm short on both ends...and the most important to me...WEIGHT....extra meat in the stock to me is a waste in F/TR....now in F/Open with 22 lbs. to play with that's a different story....if I was in need of adding to help in reducing recoil or to adjust the balance point I'd just add some lead, but not make the stock longer on the smart end.
