Manatee Gun Club, Fl.... Iron sight match

On Sunday Jan 6 we are having a 22 Cal. Iron sight match. We shoot out to 100 yards at 6 targets with 10 shots in each. Rifles used are mostly Anschutz or Win 52's with Anschutz style aperture sights. Not a sanctioned match, but lots of fun. Sign up starts at 8AM and match begins at 9AM.Doug

We had 7 shooters come out to shoot. The weather was nice. A high of 80 with light winds and overcast to start with and on the last 2 cards the wind got a little tricky. No wind flags allowed. We shoot 10 shots at each (100 yard small bore ) target for a possible 600 points and 60X. Surprisingly we had only one shooter, Tom Whalen shoot a perfect 600 with 47X. Congrats to Tom on some very good shooting.
Sunday, Jan 20th will be our next Iron sight match. Doug
