Can .22 cheetah brass be made without forming dies and if it can how. Thanks for any help.

Not in my limited experience, some guys tried using 243 brass in an effort to save a couple of steps but in our shop the boss felt that the full set of forming dies was the best way to go, its still a pain and I found out fast I dont like to form brass if it takes more then one pass

Treat it like you would any Improved wildcat and you should have no problems. Shove the shoulder back until you get a crush fit, load a good hot load , and fire-form. I've made a lot of cases this way.

If you start with the Rem UBR brass you'll have to shove the shoulder in steps but you should be able to do it in one pass with 243 brass.

I've made many 22 CH II with a 7mm08 die then a 243 win die to a 22 CH II fl die. It's way too much work! My last three guns are fed Laupa 243 Win cases necked to 22 cal. I have a .250 nk gun and a .256 neck gun. You have to neck turn the .250 chamber but not on the .256 chamber. My 9 twist gun loves 65 Sierra game kings with VV N560, 3800 fps, and the 14 twist gun loves 55 Sierra Blitzkings with RL 15, 4050 fps. I moly coat all my bullets. In case your interested, I have about 200 new 308 UBR Rem brass.
