will be held Memorial Day weekend, May 23-24-25. Cost will be $20 per yardage. Opening cannon shots are free. The range will be manned from 9 am to about 5 pm on Friday May 22 so you can set 100 yard flags. The range will open around 6.30 Saturday and Sunday. Shooting starts at 9 am. All guns will be weighed.
There will be coffee in the a.m. and a light lunch all days for a reasonable cost. Inside plumbing at both ranges.
The 100 and 200 yard legs will be held at the Orrington Rod and Gun Club on Saturday and Sunday. The 300 yard leg is held at Lincoln County Rifle Club in Damariscotta, Me. There will be three relays to accommodate those who would like to shoot 2 guns.
If you are coming and would like to have a bench drawn on your behalf Friday afternoon, please email or call me. Also, if you want to share a bench with others let me know who those others are.
The frost is out of the ground, but plan on bringing a hammer and punch for the Orrington range...hard bottom. You will need flags that can extend up to about 5 feet and down to a foot or two for Orrington. At LCRC, you will need a couple of flags that can extend up to about 15-18 feet depending on your bench location.
