Attached in an excel file are the results of Magic City’s ARA Club Tournament Sunday Oct. 17, 2010. Terry Gilliland and his wife furnished a great feast, which made the match worth attending even if you shot as poorly as I did. Marion Collier let his mule Willie get the best of him and had to shoot with a bad right wrist. First time I have ever scored higher than Marion. Marion brought the winner to the match. Gregg Johnson put on a show with a 2200 agg.. William Casey shot a 2450 on the first target with only two plugs, but he strained his eyes, gun, or trigger finger because he went down hill the rest of the match. The Sheriff (Calfee gun) Tim Miller lost a wheel and crashed into the wall on the last two targets. Terry Gilliland has a Womack that was winning everything four or five years ago, if he could figure how to get the bolt out and clean out all the lead built-up he might move back into the winner’s circle.
Chattanooga Rifle Club ARA club tournament is this Saturday, October 23 at 9:00 am. The reward for a sanctioned 2500 will be $1,000.00. Bring your best ammo and see if you can take it home. Gene Corvin said he has been sand bagging until it reached $1,000.00, so come to see him shoot a 2500. My cell phone number will be posted on the gate for entry, any time after 7:00am. Entry fee is $20.00, which includes my wife’s homemade chili. Bill McConkey, Chattanooga Rifle Club match director posting for Magic City
