All,
I know this is not a BR match but thought you would like to hear about it. Oh by the way sun use out and it was about 75 degs. Sunday Titusville Rifle and Pistol Club had a M1 Garand match 100yds, prone position, two clips, (16 rounds). All rifles were rack grade and all ammo was CMP grade. Shooters could only use a shoot jacket plus ear and eye protection. Match was from left to right a man size paper silhouette target (2 rounds), next target right, steel shoot for one hit, next target right steel shoot for one hit, next target right steel fall down target, shoot to make it fall down, next target right low steel, shoot for hit, and last target to right man size paper silhouette two rounds. Change clip start on right man size paper silhouette target two rounds, move right steel one hit, move past the fall target to steel and one hit, move left to next steel one hit, move left to steel one hit, and last three shots in the man size paper silhouette. With 16 rounds you could have no misses on the steel. Oh by the way this was all timed fire. We had about 16 shooters (4 ladies) fun and lunch was had by all. It took some time to find my Garand but it shoot well. What a change from BR shooting. It was nice to be outside today.
