This is a duplicate post to one on 6mmBR.com but I thought I would try both Forums.
I have a rather pristine Lyman Super Spot scope. I got it with a practically unfired Rem 40X and still with the factory wooden box and paperwork. The paperwork does not provide instructions on how to "zero" the turrets after sighting in.
It is working great, but I want to "Zero" the turret vernier scales after I have it sighted in and am having difficulty doing so. There are three set screws on each turret and I have loosened each and the turrets still "click" if I rotate the knobs. To me this indicates the knobs are still moving the POA - not "zeroing" the turret knobs.
Help please,
George
