Luther matches

I asked Rex when the Luther matches were as it wasn't in the last NBRSA I received.

April 10 LV
May 8 SP
June 12 HV

Hopefully, I can get a .220 Beggs barrel installed on one of my rifles and give it a go. Pretty hard to think about shooting a benchrest match though with the weather the way that it is here today. 30 to 40 mph blowing snow, miserably cold.

Is the panhandle this cold every year or is this a aberration in the weather patterns. Heck its going into the 30's in H-town over the weekend at the end of March....

Perhaps this weather phenomenon is due to global warming.

We've had pretty warm winters the past several years. But, this one has been the worst so far in the past 10 or so years. From Christmas eve until the middle of February, we had some snow on the ground either from snow that never left or from more snow. March snows normally don't stay around long. They are predicting this front to pass through and then be back in the 60's.
