Low Wall action question

What calibers would a Winchester low wall be suitable for at the moment 32-20 but has a bad barrel sugestions 218Bee 2520 Win ?

Yes, either of those would be good and will work with your current extractor. Or you could go back to a .32-20 as well. I like the .218 Bee a lot. You could also make a .38 Special or .357 Magnum - might be fun. It depends on what you'd like to use the rifle for.

Be sure to bush the breech block and make a smaller firing pin tip when you fit the new barrel.

Don't go with anything much more powerful, the action is not that strong. I've seen bigger cartridges on a Low Wall but always thought it to be a mistake.

Most of the low walls I've seen have been chambered for pistol cartridges and low pressure rifles (maybe up to 30-30).

keep it a 32-20.....

I was in the same boat as you a few years ago...The rifle had a sewer-pipe bore, but was a deluxe pistol grip w/ set trigger, 1/2 oct. barrel, etc....Had it relined back to 32-20, and used the Hornady XTP 85 gr. JHP for woodchucks...Very accurate, a humane killer, and the rifle still has it's factory barrel address...A biggie, should you ever want to sell it.....

Just my .02 cents...
