Its still a work in progress Tom. I've heard estimates as low as a couple of months, but hopefully, by Fall?

The latest that I heard was that they submitted for permits about 2 weeks ago. The roof has been ordered and paid for and we are looking at 25 benches. With a bit of luck we might be able to break the new range in, in about 3 to 5 months.

Where exactly off Angeles Crest Hwy (2)? I belong to Desert Marksman but it is off Angeles Forest Hwy closer to the 14. I ride up 2 all the time to go to Newcomb's Ranch but this is the first I've heard of a range being attempted off 2.

• 118 East
• 210 East
• Exit Osborne Street and turn left
• Turn left at second traffic light (Osborne Street)
• Follow for 2 miles. This road turns into N. Little Tujunga Canyon Rd.
• Turn left at the sign reading "Shooting Ranges"

Based on your directions this sounds like its going to be at or near the Angeles Shooting Range. I thought there was to much incline there for good benchrest shooting. Is it on the same property or did they identify another area near there that was flatter than the existing ranges?
