I can't believe how hard it has been to find a gunsmith with a tight neck 30-378 Wby reamer. I have a 34 in. 3/3 Pac-Nor barrel hung on a Hall E that needs reamed.

I would suggest buying your own reamer, that way you can have it ground to whatever dimensions you wish. Then if you decide that you aren't gonna have another chamber cut with it, you can sell it for most of the original purchase price. I recommend Dave Kiff for quality as well as quick turn around.

if you didn't need the tite neck I'm sure there are a few that have one. not much call for such an animal. some gunsmiths will work with you on reamer price if they think they can ever use it again. I suggest calling some of the gunsmiths that deal with building large hunting rifles and see what they say.

It looks like I am going to have one made. I would like to do the NK at .332 because that is where my 300 Wby is set up. I would not have to adjust the NK tool to do the 30-378.

you could buy a good reamer from somebody and have the correct neck dia ground onto it by mr kiff while he refurbishes it.

Have you tried hart rifle barrels.Thats whos doing mine right now
