I have a 300 wsm nothing special just a normal hunting rifle with a leopould vxIII
4.5x14x40 and im shooting dead on at 300 yards with a standerd winchester cxp3 180 grain what will i have to do to reach 600yds accuratly? im not to familier with the ballistics yet

You'll need to get to know the ballistics of your load, how to correctly adjust your scope and trigger time, trigger time and more trigger time. Find somebody from your local area who knows how to shoot at these distances and suck up to him really well...

Good luck..

If you send me your email address I have an Excel spreadsheet that I have entered your bullet BC and ammo velocity into already . I could send it to you . I can't send spread sheets over this forum. You would need Microsoft excel to read and alter the spread sheet. All you will need to alter for that ammo is the atmsopheric data , altitude etc .
Winchester says that your bullet has a .527 BC that high would be a G1 drag function. Velocity of 3010 fps. in 24 inch barrel.
So what you will have to do to hit 600 yards zero , level fire with a 300 zero is aim 51 inch higher than zero
