Leupold VX3 scope turrets

I have a a couple of Leup VX3 scopes and was wondering with the turret caps off is there any detrement to the scope? i.e if I left them off for the day no moisture can get in?

Rich,

You'll be OK. The caps are there so the adjustments don't get moved by accident.

Pop the turret off & you'll see it's all sealed underneath.
