Leupold dot

Just had a 1/8 minute dot installed in a 6.5X20 EFR for my 52D with Viani mount. Is this dot too small for 100 yard shooting? I had a dot in this scope at one time but it did not look this small. I was pretty sure it was 1/8 minute. Thanks, Scott

First measure the "bull" of the target you are going to shoot. By definition a 1/8 min dot is 1/8 inch at 100 yards. If the "bull is larger than 1/8 inch then yes that dot will likely be okay. If smaller than 1/8 inch then you will be shooting somewhat blind on hold offs. If my memory serves that scope typically has a 3/8 min dot from the factory, designed for sillywet shooting. bob

I know of NO 100 yard target with a "bull" that is 1/8 MOA. Your dot will be great for everything you shoot with your 52 Winchester.
