Leupold 45x45 Competition Scope Owners Question

A question for those who own or use a Leupold Competition 45x45 Scope.

Does this scope focus down to 20 metres/yards without a problem? (for Rimfire Benchrest shooting)

I have a 35x45 which i already use and love and it says on the focus/paralax side knob, 400, 300, 100 but goes way past and back the 400 again, and focuses very well at 20m.

But the local dealers won't "guarantee" the 45x45 to the 20m range as the specs don't state it does and it is not a cheap scope and would be useless to me if i cant.

Thus my question to the shooters that have and use one.

I have and use 3 45x45 and 2 40x45 that have been bought from 2000 thru 2008. These will all focus down to about 30'. Go to a dealer and try one or call Leupold for a firm answer.

Thanks, lving in rural Australia, no local dealer has one, even the larger city dealers don't have in stock and the Australian wholesaler won't confirm as the specs don't cite. (or they are all just too lazy to get one out of a box and focus it on a wall 20m away, which would get a quick sale)

Calling Leupold from Australia is a bit tricky, hence my question here.

My 35x35 does, so my suspicion is that they all do but just wanted some other input from 45x45 users.

post your question on the benchrestbulletin forum and on the ozfclass forum. Someone on either of those 2 might be able to help.
