Leupold 30x x40mm 3/8's dot

Anyone using this for 100-200 yard score? Seems to be a somewhat reasonable scope from Leupold.

This is meant to be a silhouette scope. IMO 3/8 min dot is too large for 100-200 yard benchrest.

the dot is going to obscure the target. i think its designed for silhouette. I use fine crosshairs on all of my Leupold target scopes
