Leupold 30mm Rings

I have purchased a 30mm riflescope with a 42mm objective lens. The rifle I am mounting in on is a 308Win, 700 Remington with a heavy barrel. Currently I have 1" Leupold rings on a one piece base. Can anyone tell me what height Leupold 30mm rings to buy?

Using "low" rings should get scope as low to center of bore as you can get it with base you described rifle has on it now.

Low rings should also work on same rifle if you decide you may want to use a 50mm objective at some point in time.

i have a heavy barrel 700 sps. with a 30mm tube and 40mm objective. i had to use the med. rings base is a 1 piece std (takes dovetail ring)
 
Ring needed to place scope objective bell as close to center of bore measures .900" - measuring from surface that contacts scope base to middle of ring.
