Les Baer AR 223

Anyone have any experence with these rifles? I have seen 2 of these guns shoot .172-.250 5 shot groups. The load was 26grs H-335 55 gr nosler BT WW brass and WW primers.
I would have never believed you could make a AR shoot that well! They are kind of pricey. Thinking about ordering 1

There are many other choices in ARs that would likely be just as accurate with proper loads and maybe cheaper. I'm sure the Baer is a fine firearm,I don't get the high price thing. There are only so many parts you can throw at an AR to achieve said accuracy. Mainly a good barrel and trigger.

LBC AR's

I have a Les Baer Super Match that shoots heavy bullets exceptionally well.
Running 69,77 or 80 grain handloads the rifle has not shot over a 3/8" 5 shot 100yd group with any load I put through it.
The Premier II 45ACP 1911 in my posession shoots on par with his rifles also.

A shooting partner has a varmint model in 204. This rifle will out compete any of my Sakos and run even with one of my customs. I borrowed it to test drive it as I was looking for an AR platform but found it a lil heavy for a carry rifle, especially in deep snow.

re Les Baer

One of the guys who I shoot NRA match rifles with shoots one.

It is very accurate for a semiauto.

It is also chokes periodically.

Unsure if this is just this one example or whether they all do it.
