Last week, one of the finest gentlemen to ever compete at Williamsport, past away. Mr. Chuck Shelansky of Michigan. He will be sorely missed by all.

Bob,
Your message about Chuck passing away makes me very, very sad. My heart goes out to his wife Helen and family. He was one of the finest gentleman I have ever known. Helen gave me several pictures of Chuck and I at the last match. I will miss him deeply.

My prayers go out to Helen, his family, and his many friends.

Chuck will be sorely missed at the range in Williamsport. His wise comments always made me pause and think.
