Lathe Question

Need some input looking at a couple of lathes but need your input from experience. Im looking at the Grizzly gunsmithen lathe and the Precision Mathews 12X36 lathe. From what I can see the main difference is a foot brake and coolant system. what would be a better choice for home gun building? Im interested in BR rifles and hunting rifles. thanks for your input...

Always get a foot brake if possible. My Grizzly tool room lathe has a foot brake that stops it instantly with moderate pressure. It has a disc brake on it. I don't think you can go wrong with Grizzly.
 
Is there a way to add a foot brake or have it added at the factory on the Grizzly G4003G?
