Last Group LV/HV Match of the Year at STL BRRC!! *UPDATES*
The last Group Benchrest match of the year at the St. Louis Benchrest Rifle Club will be held on October 18-19. It's going to be a great match.
The range will open to shooters at 9:00 am on Friday the 17th, then we will be doing a Fly Shoot for cash to make sure that your rifles are all tuned up at 5:30 PM. We have a new target to test your skills. Entry is $20.00. Winner gets 50% of the pot, 2nd place gets 30%, third place gets 10%, and fourth and 5th get 5% each. Anybody is welcome to try out the Fly Shoot whether you are shooting in the group match or not. After the Fly Shoot we have reserved some tables at the local Mexican restaurant so that the winner can buy us all margaritas!
The actual match starts on Saturday the 18th at noon. We will shoot 100 light and then 100 heavy. Then we will be grilling steaks and having a good meal out at the club Saturday after the shooting.
Sunday shooting will begin at 8:00 am and we will shoot 200 heavy then 200 light.
I hope that lots of people can make it. This is generally one of our only matches where it isn't freezing cold or blazing hot. Please let me know if you plan on attending so that we can plan accordingly for the food on Saturday night. You can email me at old4and1@gmail.com or give me a call at (314) 283-4085.
Please let me know if you are planning on coming to the match so I can make sure that we buy enough food for everybody. We already have a lot of people that have confirmed so it should be a great match.
