larger Flasholes with 133

I did a very small test on 5 cases and was not satisfied with the results. It gave a bit larger groups, but like I said, just a small sampleing.

How much larger, and larger than what? What caliber? What size flashhole are you considering?

I drilled my ppc cases out to the same size as a 223 case flashole, whatever that is. Its been a while and I have slept since then. I think the small flash hole is part of the accuracy package built into the ppc case.
 
Bob. I reamed my first batch of 99 with the Sinclair Flash hole reamer.
The next 200, I left at .057". The Harrell primer pin fit in the hole.
I think, I am getting smaller groups. Or I am reading the flags and mirage better.
I read somewhere, that the smaller flash hole, helps with accuracy in the 6PPC.
 
I drilled some to. progressively larger to .101 and shot a very small group,
I also shot some big ones. I made a 6mm Wasp using 30 American
cases. The capacity was held very close to 6ppc. It has proven to me that
the capacity is why the 6ppc shoots. With out exceptions, it did what
the 6 did with a gold star. The capacity is why the 22ppc in its
original form is not at its best, and why the 6br works better with heavy bullets. Was just wondering about 133 and larger holes

I used the small Sinclair flash hole reamer on one batch of ppc's and then left another batch alone and I couldn't tell much difference in the groups over the course of a year. Then I tried the same experiment on some 6br brass and found the same results as the ppc's at 100 yards. However, on the 6br brass that was reamed larger, the standard deviations were smaller across the board and the 1000 yard groups were better.

Now I ream all my brass and make a nice bevel in there whether the cartridge is used for point blank or 1000 yards.
