Hey Renagade, Try the rimfire forum. Good Luck . Clint

Eley shooter

My wife and I shoot Eley exclusively (except for a BR Suhl that loves Lapua). We ahve found that our rifles really like ammo from machine 3 or 4 and in the 1050 fps speed range.

Currently we are shooting Eley Club Xtra EPS and Eley Pistol Xtra with very good results out to 100 meters.

Out at 200 yards we are using Eley Match EPS out of a Anscutz 64 MS with a box indicated speed of 1150 fps, but are getting no supersonic "crack" so it must be slightly slower.

I jsut got a SAKO Finnfire Range and it shoots Eley TENNEX speed 1067 fps into 2.5" at 200 yards in very calm winds.

Remember the box indcated speeds are not the speeds your rifle may actually shoot but are a good indicator in comparing ammo.
