Lapua case prep questions?

Do Lapua cases need to have the primer pocket uniformed and the flash hole reamed? I'm shooting a 30major using Lapua 6.5 grendel brass. This has the ppc sized flash hole. I only shoot VFS, no group shooting yet.

Do Lapua cases need to have the primer pocket uniformed and the flash hole reamed?

It's been customary to do both, opening the flash hole to .0625" or .063" and uniforming the primer pocket. The flash hole is also deburred inside.

I like to wait until the cases have been fired before doing the primer pocket. Doing the flash holes is a waste of time.
