I have a new indoor range in Louisville, KY that allows rifles. I'm debating whether or not it is worth $199/year to join plus $15/hr. You can shoot for $26/hr if you dont want to pay the $199 initiation fee. Can you really tell much about a 1000 yard rifle at 100 yards?? I suppose you can chrono your loads for velocity variations and get some preliminary groups for possible further testing?? Thoughts??

I would think that you can eliminate alot of climate changes and wind changes and get some more accurate testing, it would be nice in the crappy months (weather wise), I really like to test at 300 yards tho. Ron Tilley
