Congratulations Les on your first win. Conditions were hot and 10-15 mph winds. Last 2 targets the wind slowed a little, but it did not matter to Les. He shot extremely well.

But, I have to brag on my pride and joy. My 7-year-old daughter, Abbie, shot in her very first match. She shot a 2150 on her 3rd target. She sure knows how to make her dad smile. That was a great fathers day gift!!!

Dan, we must have been posting at the same time.

Had a great time and yes getting to watch Abigail shoot her first match, along with the 2150, was just to say the best fun. She's going to be tough at the bench just like her Dad so everyone better get on their game for there's a new Killough at the range.

If you get a chance you need to make a trip to their Range and enjoy the Texas hospitality for you won't find any better folks, plus the food is fantastic too.

I know you are proud of her. My 6 year old (named Abby) is taking a intrest in shooting my 40x, she is not a 2150 shooter yet but maybe one day.

Way to go Abby. I too have an Abby (granddaughter) that shoots some but not matches yet. She and her Twin sister Aubrey are into fastpitch softball at the moment. But maybe at the next match they will want to shoot.

Fred, When Dan pulls up in the RV and if I see little Abbie get out I'm packing my stuff up and going home. Just kidding of course. I hope she does get to come out on the road and shoot with us for it's just great to shoot with the young ones and see the smile on their faces.

Dan, I think it is admirable of you to purchase a brand new Myers's rifle for Abbie. However since at 7 she shoots better than both you and me she diserves it. Congratulations to all shooters and especially Abbie. Fred
