KSS ARA Club and Texas State Tournament

Everyone, The weekend of Aug 14th and 15th Dan Killough is going to be having his club tournament that Friday at 6pm and hosting the Texas State ARA Tournament Saturday at 6 pm. I know that a lot of folks already have it on their calendars, but for those who haven't done so you should really give it some thought. Dan's got a air conditioned club house, note with indoor plumbing if you know what I mean, for when you want to take a break. Hopefully Dan will give us a list of who's going to be attending but I can assure you that some of the top shooters will be there. I'd sure like to see some of the IR50/50 unlimited shooters in the state make it out.

Anyway stay tune.

We will have Brisket on Friday night and Chicken Fried Steak on Saturday night with a fun shoot on Saturday.

The web site for Killough Shooting Sports shows the motels close to the range.
 
Try These towns

Ballenger, Coleman, San Angelo or Abilene. I got the last one in Winters three weeks ago.
 
We will have some time on Saturday for a fun shoot, what would be a good fun shoot to have.
Some ideas we have had,
-knock a frozen pea off of a golf tee without hitting the tee
-a one shot target and that you must shoot with a cold barrel
-????
 
if we keep them frozen, can we keep them from being blown off the tee?

We had a match one time where we used paint ball set on top of golf tee's the same as you are talking about the using the peas. Lots of fun.

i am going to bring a couple of rolls of pennies....Chris is going to hold them between his thumb and finger ....if you hit his finger --your out...the one left who hasn't hit him .....WINS......:eek::D

didn't think about that ,but i can't think of a reason not to do it..:confused:..As long as the fingers last.:D:D
