Konus Scopes?

Anyone have any experience with the Konus M30 rifle scope. I have their spotting scope and find it well made. Thinking of the 6-24 for my 223Rem. Other scope I am looking at is the Bushnell 4200 and the Mueller. Any other recommendations in the $450 or thereabout category is welcomed.

At one time I had 2-Leup 6 1/2x20, 2- 8x25, 1- 36 brd,, now I have 3-4200's, 1-Nightforce 12x42 br, and a leup tucker conv 36 brd, I replaced most of my leups with 4200's, I can see 6mm holes @ 300yds. The NF and leup are on rimfire BR rifles, my 3 centerfire br guns use 4200's. I do have a Konus 6x24x44 on an AR Varmit rifle, Scope is very clear but I do not like the adjustments

Polerplayer, can you tell me how the Konus compares to the clarity of the 4200. What is it you don't like about the adjustment, minor preference or major inconvenience? The thing I did like in the specs for the Konus is that it had 60" of adjustment and the 4200 has only 40". For what I am shooting, 223Rem at 300yds, probably wouldn't matter. The Konus is a bit cheaper but I need to know it won't be money wasted.

Bushnell, Burris, Leupold

I prefer the scopes listed although I do not own a Konus. The Bushnell, Burris, and Leupold have LIFETIME warranties which I have used and find the most important factor.

best, nrb
