Kodiac action follower

I have a Kodiac action and a spare bolt with a 6PPC bolt face. I screwed on a 6 PPC barrel and it shoots well. I used to use it in Hunter class that I no longer shoot. I want to purchase a magazine follower to convert it to single shot. I would like to epoxy it in place and do away with the magazine spring and follower. What do any of you recommend for a follower and what are your thoughts about epoxying it to the action? Tim

I have done glue in's..don't see how it can hurt.

It works by golly.

Al, Thanks for the reference. I bought the follower from PT&G, epoxied it in and it works great. It took a moderate degree of fitting with some 220 sandpaper and it then was a slight press fit into the loading well. Thanks again. Tim

Yeah..they work nicely, don't they? Davidson used to make one that was flat on the bottom that I used on quite a few Kodiaks.

The PTG's rounded bottom is meant to match the radius of a 700. A little file work, a dab of epoxy and a 700 magically becomes a 40X!
