Can't get my email to work, so I'll ask here. How many do you expect for your Friday night shoot and Saturday Tournament? Hope we can get some of those Dallas area shooters to show. Of course you may be shooting so good, you're scaring them off. See you Friday.

So everyone will know, we will shoot 6 targets Friday night at 7:00 and our tournament will start Saturday morning at 10:00 am. We will have good food at both matches.

Fred, I am expecting 15-20 shooters. We should have some from Dallas if they do not have to go help with the Hurricane. Hopefully a few from Madisonville can come shoot with us.

Hope to see you there,
Dan

Dan and Fred J,
Wish I could be there. It is simply too far for me. I would be privileged to compete in Texas. I wish I could recipricate Dan's visit to my range. I really do. Best of luck folks!

Ike may come shoot with us

Here I am sitting in South Florida this morning glad that Ike went South and I'm heading back to San Antonio today to only deal with it again possibly. Hard to believe that it may force me to cancel going to the tournament if it hits head on the coast and pushes through near San Antonio. Guess it wouldn't look to good me being off shooting while the wife and dogs are sitting on the roof of house while it's flooding or worse

Les

We just got beat up pretty bad by Gustav and are almost finished cleaning up the mess. For us, this was worse than Katrina or Rita so I'm not taking any chances of driving into another hurricane so soon.

Great news

Ken:

Glad to here you made it thru the Huricane without a scratch. As you you Les, your house shouldn't flood unless you let the toilet overflow. Still we hope to still make the trip.

Dan, your shoot was on my thin schedual this year but with the mess with my wife that I imagine you heard about, I'm going to miss it this year. I promise to make a few shoots down there next year. I aint skeerd...

Don,

I understand, and we will keep your wife in our prayers.

Well, Ike has turned to the East, so it should miss us. Right now our weather forecast is 84 degrees with 40% chance of rain for Saturday. If we get rain from Ike it should not be too much because we will be on the far Left hand side of the storm.

I just hope it doesn't hit Ken Harper or Marion Collier in Louisiana. It looks like it should miss Scotty. I know Ken and Marion do not need any more rain.

Thanks, but the way it looks it's such a huge storm that we're predicted to get some tropical force winds and rain starting tonight or tomorrow. New Orleans already is experiencing some weather from the outer rain bands

Well Dan they(the doctors) turned me into the Thirty-Six Thousand dollar Man (Just shades of the 6 Million dollar man) Sitting here with my leg propped up,, They wouldn't even leave any of the Shinny Stainless Steel showing...Sure will be fun around the metal detectors....Doctor said no shooting till October...May get to shoot the State tourn....Don't know yet..... Looks like all i can do is get ready for next year,Chris will probably be glad ,as he will just have to hang his targets....BJH ........ Hang in there and win the Agg,,,,
