Dan, Wanted to drop a note here telling you the great time I had at the match Saturday and visiting on Friday and testing ammo. Although I'm brand spanking new to ARA, my first match, I can say that your place is very nice and the ambiance of shooting at a working Texas Ranch just makes it better. The hospitality of your family was second to none, and would like to mention Donald in particular, and of course not leave out your wife Dawn, heck all the family just made it great. I'd like to throw a pitch out there and tell everyone who gets a chance that they should try to get out to your place and especially with summer plan a trip and see some beautiful Texas Farm/Ranch country and enjoy real country hospitality at it's best. I'm looking forward to getting back and it gives me a great opportunity to visit my folks over in Richland Springs.

Wind Probes

I hope you got some of the Wind Probes. It hard to read them when they are against the peg. Had a great time anyhow.
 
I'd like to say ditto to Les's remarks. Don't think I have met a finer group of folks. Great fun, great folks, great food! Thanks Dan and Dawn for all the work so we could have fun!

Every time I send a round down the tube, I realize just how much there is to learn about shooting this game. Can't compete with you guys, but what a blast!

I spent a couple of hours after lunch with Don and shot a couple of his 40X's and a Suhl. That was a whole new world! I could get used to it too......

I'm in trouble now! :D
