Well wanted to report that none of the inclement weather in the Greater Texas area affected the match at Dan and Dawn's place with no rain, moderate to light winds and cool temperatures. A few shooters didn't make the trip due to severe weather in their areas, but still had 9 shooters at the match.
The top three plus aggs. were:
Dawn Killough - 2129.17 High target for the match 2400
Dan Killough - 2087.50
Fran Barletta - 2037.50
Dawn was shooting her Myers Suhl and you know your in for a tough match with her behind the trigger of that rig.
Fran's had some good outings recently and I believe he contributes this to some changes he's made to his rifle, but you'd have to ask him for the details for it's not my place to tell.
As usual the food was fantastic and the support of the scoring crew, Dan's mom and JR, is really appreciated.
If you haven't had the opportunity to make the trip out to Dan and Dawn's place you really need to plan a trip.
Adam Peightal, currently serving in the U.S. Army, made the trip over from Ft. Hood, and it was enjoyable to have him shooting/visiting with us. His father is Jim Peightal who's a Gunsmith in the PA area.
