Kettlefoot Virginia State IR-50/50 3-gun match

Kettlefoot will be hosting the Virginia State IR-50/50 3-gun match on August 10 (yards) and August 11 (meters). The range will be open by noon on Friday for practice. Thanks to CMS (David Cook) we will be giving away a Turbo action on Sunday to one lucky shooter. To qualify for the drawing for the action you have to shoot all 3 classes both days. We will take the top 7 finishers of the 6 gun aig and draw a winner from that list. If David Cook finishes in the top 7 he will remove his name from the list and draw a wildcard finisher from position 8 on. That number will be put in with the other top 6 and from there David will draw a winner for the action.

I would like to thank CMS for their continued support of IR-50/50.

Congratulations to Todd Wooten who won the action donated by CMS at Unaka Rod & Gun Clubs Tn. State IR-50/50 match.

If anyone has questions please contact me @ 423-306-4319 or jimjonessr@aol.com.

Thanks

Try It, You’ll Like It

Jim,
I’m planning to come and bring some bullets so that some fellows can try several different Lots of Midas for the VA State match in the Try It, You’ll Like It” program. The Gulf Coast Regional was a big success for three new shooters – I loaned by 40X with a 6 o’clock firing pin to a new shooter who never shot a target before and he shot a 250 12X using Midas, Ben was a happy boy. Hope to see everyone Friday afternoon.
Bob Collins
Heading to North Alabama in the morning. Gene get your quarters ready.

Clint Swigert will also be at the Virginia State match. He just informed me that he will be getting in a new shipment of ammo today.

The range will be open from 9:00 am till 5:30 pm for anyone who wants to practice on Friday. The starting time for Saturday (yards) will be at 9:00 am. We will be starting at 8:00 am on Sunday (meters) to help get the shooters headed home a little earlier. After the match on Saturday we will reset the range for meters so anyone who wants to practice for meters can.

Thanks Jim

Thanks MaxxPower,
I see that it's just off I-81, I'm also in the Southwest VA area, but not that far Southwest. I'm in the Rural Retreat area, also just off I-81. I've never been to a IR-50-50 match before so I'll make every effort to get to the match to see just how it's done.

Jim,
Thanks for putting on the match. You did a great hob as did all the others who helped.
We had a good time, and enjoyed ourselves. I had a chance to visit with some friends that I had not seen in a while, and that was good.
Congrats to all of the winners, and congrats to Noah on winning a new action!!
Noah is a fine young man, great shooter, and a class act!
Congrats to Bruce Doster on that fine sporter meters target. Well done.

Thanks to David Cook for donating an action to be given away. It makes for a fun awards presentation.
Jim, you put on a fine match.
