I have a Kenyon trigger assembly that I would like to know what it fits. I think it is a 700 Remington. Also looking to sell it; was thinking of Gunbroker. Thanks for any help.
Carl's forte was in Rimfire triggers, as in the best winchester model 52 triggers, he did work on others I had a BSA Martini, that he reworked for me, and it was nothing short of superb! Gunbroker would be a good place to sell it. Or you could list it here in the classified section! All you gotta do is send Wilbur $3.00 for the add.
Karl made triggers mostly for Winchester 52's (he worked for Winchester at one time) Remington 37's Anschutz 54's (rare as hens teeth) and a few for the 40X Remington. The 40X triggers will fit the 700 as it is Remington pattern trigger but the bolt catch needs to be modified as Karl was a believer in a 90 degree catch rather than the angled Remington design. He also modified several factory triggers. Those will most likely not have his "Kenyon" stamp on it.
If you can post a photo we can identify the trigger for you. Kenyon triggers are EXTREMELY valuable. It will amaze you what some of us are willing to pay for one. bob
