July Match at the Rock

The July Score Match at Rockingham County Gun Club will be held Sat. July 26 at 9:00 am this will be a 100yd. match three class VFS Mod Factory hope to see yall there.
 
It was a great day for the match, the weather was hot and humid but the conditions were great. A light steady breeze was there for most of the match, best conditions I've ever seen at the Rock. We should have shot 25x today but nobody was smart enough to lay off the dead calm in match 3 and it ate our lunch. We had a great turnout with 26 shooters, 15 VFS, 5 Mod and 6 Factory guns. I won VFS with 250-21x, I tried hard to give the match away but they tried harder to give it back, Gary Hendrix was 2nd w 250-20x and Albert Holiday was 3rd w 250-19x by creedmore as 3 other shooters had 19x. Greg Myrick won Modified w 248-12x, Jake Smith was 2nd w 247-8x and Kelly Hendrix was 3rd w 243-8x. Willie Brown won Factory class w 248-7x and Tom Fee was 2nd w 248-7x and Kevin Lasley was 3rd w 247- 6x. Thanks to all that came and thanks to the people that worked the match, We want to give a special Thanks to Kelly Hendrix for helping out with the computer entry and helping the looks of the crew, it was a pretty rough looking bunch other than Kelly! :) Hope to see everyone next month for the 200
