John passed away Wednesday. John shot ARA with us here in Wichita fo a number of years. Prior to that John scored for us with BR-50 and ARA. John was also a match director at the club running CMP rimfire sporter matches the last several years. He shot informal centerfire benchrest matches at our club too. He was a retired police officer. I spoke to him last week and he was really looking forward to the new season with a new barrel for his rifle. But most of all he was a friend.

Sad

Rich:
We rememeber the days of BR50, when John was a large part of the scoring team at the Sunflower Tournaments. Never had to question his ability to score targets accurately. Dorothy & I will miss him. When we finally get back to Kansas, there will be a void that will be difficult to fill.

John,
was a good man . All ways looked foward to seeing him
when Jan and I went down to Wichita.
Our prayers are with his family.

I didn't know him very long, but will miss him.

John made me feel welcome at the ARA matches this past summer (my first year) at Air Capital Gun Club.

It was always a pleasure to talk to John. John was the only out of state shooter to shoot with us at our brief ARA matches here in OKC. I will miss him.

Very sad to hear of the loss of another shooter. My condolences to his friends and family. I'm sure he will be missed by many. May he rest in peace.
