We have one of the largests benchrest clubs in the country. We hold the ARA Nationals here. Thanks, John Parker for all your hard work.

There has been a growing demand for unsanctioned club only rimfire shooting, with a huge emphasis on low cost and fun. These are intended for new shooters, juniors or shooters who got tired of the high costs or pressures of full on sanctioned competition such as IR 50/50 or ARA.

As you mentioned in another post "It's a good farm league for the sanctioned matches sponsored by the National Associations." We expect some shooters will get hooked and want to move up.

As we have gone ahead with our proposal interest has been huge. Our rules differ from what you do in the UP but only slightly. As we get our Board of Directors approval, I will post the rules of what we call Vintage Benchrest. Thank you for the furthering of our sport. Joe you are a class act and thanks for all of the help!!

Having a competition that a working person, raising a family with small children, can afford is a huge first step. Having a laid back fun attitude is something that will attract participation. The Rimfire Shooters at the Lefthanders Gun Club do this very very well. Thanks Magoo.
